- 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
- 3 Tbsp Oil
- As per taste Salt
Steps to make to make Beetroot ki sabzi/Chukandar ki Sabzi
- In a Pressure Cooker add Beetroot, lemon juice and 1/4Cup Water
- Pressure Cook it on High Flame till 1 Whistle
- Turn off the flame,let all the pressure release, then open the lid of cooker
- Remove Beetroot in bowl
- Add Oil in a Kadai, when oil is hot,add Cumin seeds and Mustard Seeds,let them crackle on High Flame
- Add Curry leaves and green chillies,cook for few seconds,then add Onion
- Cook Onion on High Flame till it turns translucent
- In a bowl mix Dry spices with Water, Add Spices and cook by adding little little water 2-3mins
- Add Beetroot and green peas cook for further 2-3mins
- Add Coconut Milk and Salt to taste,Cover and cook it for 10mins on Medium Low Flame
- Open the lid,add Chopped Coriander Leaves and cook for further 5mins,let the Oil separate.Remove it in Serving Dish.Serve it with Rice or Chapati
