- 2 tablespoon Oil

- 5 boiled potatoes
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala powder

- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- 3 chopped green chilli
- as required Coriander leaves
- 1/2 tablespoon Amchur powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Ajwain
Instructions to make to make Aloo Paratha
- Making Dough for Paratha. In a mixing bowl add 1 bowl of wheat flour, add salt as per taste and mix it.
- Add half glass water and knead the dough till it becomes soft and pliable.
- Apply oil and knead again. If you press the dough it should dent easily and soft.
- Cover and keep aside till aloo Stuffing is ready.
- Make Aloo Stuffing. Take 5 boiled potatoes peel the skin and grate them. Add 1 tablespoon besan flour and salt as per taste.
- Add 1 tablespoonredchilli powder, 1 tbsp Ajawain and1 tbsp garam masala powder.
- Add 1/2 tbsp Amchur powder, 1tbsp grated ginger, and 3 chopped green chilli.
- Add coriander leaves and mix them all.
- Now take a ball size dough and roll in your palms and on roller board flatten it to a 4 inch round disc.
- Place a spiced potato ball in the center and bring the sides up. Join all the edges properly no filling should be visible.
- Dip this ball in flour on both sides and flatten.
- Most important thing is filling is evenly spread all over paratha.
- In a tawa add 1tbsp ghee add the paratha gently.in 2 minutes you will see bubbles. Flip it to the other side.
- Press down gently with spatula. You will see paratha begins to puff.Add ghee and cook pressing down edges.
- When the paratha becomes golden brown remove from tawa.
- So enjoy garam garam Aloo paratha with sweet lassi,pickle.
