- 160 grms maida
- As per taste Salt
- as required Water
- As required Oil for brushing the dough
- For quesedilla-
- Half roasted prepared roti
- as required Mexican seasoning
- 1 big block of cheese
- as required Butter for roasting
Steps to make to make Quesadilla
- In a heated pan with oil, saute garlic, onion, and fresh green chilies. Next, add blanched sweetcorn. Mix. Next, add boiled rajma beans.
- Add salt, pepper, chopped coriander leaves, and tomato puree. Mix all well and cook for some time. Next, add Mexican seasoning. Mix well. Check the seasonings. Adjust as required. Switch the flame off and keep the filling aside.
- Next in a mixing bowl, put flour, salt, and mix. Add water gradually and knead a soft dough. Brush oil so that dough doesn't dry up. Cover and keep aside for resting for 10 minutes. Next, knead the dough again. Divide into two parts. Take one portion.
- Roll into a thin circle. Heat tawa and roast the roti a little bit. One side roast a little more.
- Now put filling on the side which is roasted more. Grate cheese generously. Sprinkle some more seasoning. Now fold into a semicircle.
- Put this on a heated tawa. Brush little butter and roast till crispy from both sides. (Repeat the same process with the other portion of the dough).
- It's ready.. cut into sectors and serve hot... Enjoy with your favorite dip.
