  19. 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  20. 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  21. 1 tbsp vinegar
  22. 2 tsp Schezwan sauce
  23. 1 tsp sugar
  24. 1 tbsp corn flour mixed with water
  25. as per taste Salt
  26. as per taste Pepper powder

Instructions to make to make Soya Manchurian

  1. First add 3 -4 Cup of water to a boil, add soya chunks and allow to rest for sometime until they turns soft.
  2. Squeeze off the excess water from the chunks, rinse them well and repeat squeezing to remove excess water.
  3. Add them in a mixing bowl along with all-purpose flour, corn flour, salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder/sauce, soya sauce and mix everything well. Sprinkle little water for the flour to bind the chunks. Set aside for 10mins.
  4. Add oil in wok a and deep fry them until nice golden and crisp. Remove them in a paper napkin.
  5. Meanwhile to prepare a sauce -- heat oil in a pan / kadhai, add garlic ginger and saute for a min on medium flame. Add spring onions and saute on a high flame for a min. Next to add capsicum and saute for another 2 mins.
  6. Now in a small bowl add tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, Schezwan sauce, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar and mix everything well. Add this prepared mixture to the pan and stir well.
  7. Add corn flour and water in a bowl and mix, make sure it has no lumps. Add this corn flour mix to the pan and stir continuously. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Add pepper powder and salt according to your taste, mix well, at last add fried soya chunks, mix and cook covered for 2 mins and switch off the flame.
  9. Delicious soya chunks Manchurian is ready, serve hot.
